This page lists every cookie and similar technology BP Couriers uses, what it's for, who controls it, and how long it lives.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device to remember you between visits. We also use similar technologies like browser localStorage and session storage.
2. Cookies we use
Strictly necessary (always on)
- __clerk_session · Clerk · session cookie used to keep you signed in. Expires when you sign out.
- __client_uat · Clerk · helps detect cross-site authentication. Expires in 1 year.
- bp_view_mode · BP Couriers · stores whether an admin is viewing Live / Test / All data. Expires in 1 year.
- bp_install_dismissed · BP Couriers · localStorage flag remembering you dismissed the "install our app" card.
- bp_cookie_consent · BP Couriers · stores your cookie preferences. Expires in 1 year.
Functional (set only with your consent)
- bp_visit_count · BP Couriers · counts visits so we know when to offer the home-screen install prompt. Disabled if you decline functional cookies.
Analytics & performance
We don't currently run third-party analytics. If we add a service (e.g. Vercel Analytics or Plausible) we'll update this list and ask for fresh consent.
Marketing
We don't set marketing or advertising cookies and we don't share cookie data with advertisers.
3. Managing your preferences
When you first land on bpcouriers.com you'll see a consent banner with Accept all / Decline non-essential / Customise options. You can change your choice any time by clearing your browser's cookies for this domain — the banner will reappear on your next visit.
Most browsers also let you block cookies in their settings. Note that blocking the strictly-necessary ones will sign you out and break booking.
4. Questions
